Going to the VR Movies 🎥

This week, I had a unique experience as I visited a virtual movie theater. Thanks to virtual reality technology, I enjoyed one of my favorite movies in 3D, all from the comfort of my own bed. Using the Bigscreen app, I had the freedom to choose from various movies hosted by different individuals. Once inside the virtual theater, I could look around and see avatars of other Oculus users who were also attending the screening. One of the cool features allowed me to throw popcorn, tomatoes, or even soda, adding an element of fun to the experience. Additionally, being able to hear other people talking created an authentic atmosphere, which could be either entertaining or slightly annoying at times.
From a technical perspective, the visuals were impressively vibrant, and, as I learned in class, all text had a shadow, enhancing the realism. The sound was also loud and immersive, replicating the actual movie theater experience. Navigating through the virtual movie theater was simple and user-friendly, and I'm definitely looking forward to trying it again.
